So my family are from Nelson, they were evacuated from their home in the bush fires there.. this story is a little more nonfiction for me than it used to be!
This story is also based on the real deal and is a thrilling read that brought together all the fear, confusion, tragedy and uncertainty of the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires in which 173 people lost their lives
