Grandpa Green

By: Lane Smith
Location: PIC SMI

This week my workmates Dad passed away- so this book is to remember him by. It is a lovely picture book  of a young boy who remembers his great grandfathers life through a topairy in the garden. The story is told twice- once through the boys words and then reinforced by the topairy images. It is about love, war, childhood, Paris, employment but most of all it is about remembering someone who we love and has given us a wonderful heritage.
