Set in the Northern part of New Zealand after volcanic eruptions and tsunami's caused the outset of the Dark. The few survivors are struggling to maintain their tenuous communities in swamplands. Now food and resources are dwindling and the real hope for the future rests with the youths who are selected to venture into the devastated mainland to find any remaining food sources... However more is yet to come as the heavens themselves change- revealing dramatic events that no-on can ignore.
